Pros
Facility is tidy.. No scrimping on monitors or office supplies. The CEO has the right ideas, but somehow they simply do not apply to the Claims Dept.
Cons
The claims dept has been understaffed and runs on mandatory overtime which is not mentioned during your job interview. The burden of their lack of organization and foresight is on the employees who work every other Saturday 6 a.m. to noon (of couse mgmt does not) in an ice cold warehouse, that combined with ten hour work days has employees frazzled and run down. There is little training and you are either laughed at or dismissed when you have questions. After a few weeks of training, you are left to find answers yourself. Emphasis is on production, but that is difficult to accomplish with so little training. The computer system is poor at best and there is no positive reinforcement.
