      Nice people but poor comp/benefits for area

      Pros

      Most of corporate senior leadership were very nice and very competent.

      Cons

      Expensive insurance, poor comparative compensation compared to other health systems in local/regional market. PTO is not very generous and all holidays/sick/bereavement come out of small PTO pool. After sick time and holidays you are lucky to have a week for a vacation. Lots of periods of hiring up and then laying off.

      Pros

      Reviews based upon performance. Culture was sincere, positive, forward thinking and a great experience. Did not feel threatened that others were out to get you or disprove you. Great teamwork and collaboration among staff at all levels of the organization. Really focused on patient care and clinical outcomes. Great medical benefits and PTO accumulation.

      Cons

      Silently letting people go, a little at a time as to not draw attention. Once your on this "list" it's pretty impossible to be retained---multiple internal interviews where well qualified, but no one would take these folks. This happened quite a bit with long term employees >14 year many over 20.

      Progressive and fair company to work for.

      Lots of red tape when trying to get things done, but similar to any large corporation.
