While expectations are increased every year, raises for cost of living and benefits declined. Employee contributions rise at the same time as published reports outrageous upper management bonuses and record profits. Definitely a cliquey environment as far as lateral moves and advancements are concerned. Management will speak of great ethics and ideals up front while cutting corners at the expense of employees.

Unpredictable, big changes to one's practice made without physician control, frequent changes in management, little interest in physician well-being, increasingly hostile environment for physicians in general, became quite a toxic place to work. Has soured my outlook on employed positions in general.
