Pros

Efficient and worth the wait.

Cons

Pay could be a little better, but all in all a great system to work for.

Pros

Large company which includes many great people. Pay is under the market, but it is a job.

Cons

Most of the highest positions are not posted, or only posted after they've chosen who will be getting it. They tend to only hire people into these positions from the same small circle of yes men/women. There are then no new ideas, just the same baby boomers congratulating one another on their successes. In this way, no one will question their processes or want to change things, and will keep telling each other that they're doing a great job. Reality is that they will continue to be only ever be a hospital company, with its only strengths being the ability to foster fear and an immense lack of conscience towards its employees and patients. If only the Board knew what was really going on, I can't imagine they'd keep this management team in place.

Pros

Coworkers are nice, though I will agree there are some cliques in unexpected places. It is also frustrating working with people that do half the work you do but feel entitled to more benefits.

Cons

Management is terrible. Nothing is a problem until it's a big problem, no planning ahead, more attempts at bullying people into doing what they want than persuading, especially about things that don't really matter. One manager in particular tries to be condescending but is incorrect about many things so comes off as a donkey. When he sends communications out its hard to decipher, and then hard to figure out if its accurate information. He is also very inappropriate in dealing with "subordinates" - an issue he had when he was a staffing pharmacist as well.
