Pros
Benefits have allowed me to insure my non-student son.
Cons
If you are not one of your supervisor's/management's favorites - just accept you will be treated like dirt and written up for every thing you do. Nice that Peter Fine get's his bonuses - while the rest of us will never see an increase - there is always a reason why you won't be getting it. I've gotten so used to losing money, on job applications for other companies - I automatically check that I will take less money to start. Overworked, underpaid, stressed to the max (it's amazing we don't kill more patients), micromanaged, dirty and small physical work area, and nasty management who will do anything to make you feel insignificant and horrible. And it doesn't matter if you are in housekeeping or have a degree(s). It's just lucky that most of us care about the bottom line - the patient. NOT the almighty dollar.
