      Pros

      Great staff nurses, team environment.

      Cons

      Managment doesn't care. Staffing ratios are unsafe. Banner as a company does not invest in your wellbeing, despite what they "offer".

      The employees are great to work with but the senior leaders and executives are not the best.

      Pros

      Banner is well known throughout the communities it serves. Most of the employees are there to live the mission of making a difference in people's lives through excellent patient care.

      Cons

      The cost of benefits is too high especially since it's the Healthcare industry. The compensation is low compared to other local Healthcare organizations and annual bonus based on hospital ratings are no longer available to staff but upper management still gets their annual incredibly large bonus and they get unlimited paid time off while other employees have to work almost one month to accrue one day of paid time off.

      Pros

      Most of IT works remotely. Medical and dental benefits are fair. 401k matching up to 4% of income. Overall a fair company to work for.

      Cons

      Very corporate feel. Huge division between upper management and the day to day workers. We use dated technology and it's always a struggle to get funding for upgrades and training.
