Typical law firm, but a decent place to work
Pros
People are generally friendly, the salary and benefits were good, and so was the PTO/sick policy. I thought that was pretty standard. They have free lunch 1x a month, and free breakfast (usually bagels, fruit, coffee, OJ, etc) once weekly (usually Fridays). I do think they do things to make sure employees know they are appreciated. Pretty decent training and welcome but I think there could have been more.
Cons
Little to no room for growth; attorneys are bogged down and expect a lot from you. It's not interesting work and it can get boring after a bit. You have to be someone who is okay with doing the exact same thing every day, with little to no change. I needed more and wanted a challenge, and this wasn't for me. This job is the equivalent to Groundhog Day - the same exact thing every day - after a while, it gets depressing and boring. They also expected us to work a lot of overtime and it would always be at the last minute. Many times it would be the fact that attorneys had not completed the necessary work until the last minute, and we'd be responsible for the overhaul.
