Pros

None. There is no privacy within this firm.

Cons

Someone at the top is sharing employee information, who then tells someone, who tells someone, who tells someone. This is a quite a breach of employee privacy. Very highly unprofessional. And probably against the law.

Pros

I had a couple of coworkers that will be lifelong friends. I’m glad I met them. I enjoyed the type of work that I did. A handful of the attorneys were incredibly nice and enjoyable to work with. The staff is not the issue, it’s the management.

Cons

The biggest deal breakers are the middle level corporate managers. They treat staff like unruly children. You may not have your cell phone on your desk in the office. You must punch a clock for entering and leaving, as well as for lunch and breaks. You are both expected not to leave work unless your work is done, but get in trouble for working overtime. When we were sent home for covid we were expected to provide all of our own tools for working at home. Monitors and office supplies were our personal responsibility and not reimbursable. Upon making the decision to return to the office we were required to submit requests for exemptions to this policy no fewer than five times. Each time we were told that our requests were being considered. I have an autoimmune disorder and was advised by my doctor that I needed to continue to work from home in order to reduce exposure. I provided the requested four letters from my doctors stating that I needed to continue to work from home for my safety. All of my requests were denied. I was forced to leave a job that I enjoyed and was good at because of their refusal to make ADA accommodations.
