Even though they won’t say it, they are data and sales driven. You’re expected to deliver calls of 6 hours or more a day. Even going to the bathroom has to be justified. Management are more focused on calling than well-being. If you’re off sick you are asked if you can still call from home. You are penalised if you don’t otherwise. No career progression. Only 1 person in my work place had a promotion in the last 3 years. They don’t want to even support progression. Hardly any diversity in the management or higher up

The pay is really not worth the amount of emotional stress you have to endure. You are essentially the callers financial advisor, therapist or punching bag. They also constantly pitch upward mobility into management, but there are not enough available positions. They keep track of every minute of your down time (bathroom breaks, lunch, clock in and out). You are quite literally chained to your desk because your bonus relies on the amount of time worked and taking calls. You are expected to get to the point where you are taking ~ 100 calls a day. Really an insane experience to work there during the pandemic.
