Barkbus reviews

Two companies merged together Groom Buggy and BarkBus. The original company Groom Buggy was an amazing company to work for. After the merger everything went way down hill, pay structure was adjusted for all groomers to make less and rely on their tips. We are NOT servers at a restaurant. We have training and work in a dangerous field. We are constantly gas lighted and get word vomit. With remarks of “our goal is to be 1% better each day”. A lot of things have been taken away, monthly spending budget, sharpening budget got cut.

- Pricing is insanely high -Pay is ridiculously low ( Hourly rate is less than you would make on commission in a salon) - Bonus structure was changed with no warning causing many to get a pay cut - Insurance benefits are too expensive for us to even afford - Drive times are long and often throughout your day - Sometimes working up to 12hrs a day - Van maintenance is slow - If you complain about pay they tell you to just pick up more hours - No manager/ barely any support on weekends - The team who makes your schedule do not have experience in the industry and will often give you a schedule worth crying over - Desperate to hire more groomers so will just hire anybody with shears these days
