      Pros

      Great team environment. PTO is good but can't use it until after your 90 days. 1 hour break but they would rather you take a 30 min break.

      Cons

      Horrible company an the way they treat their employees. Only had one week of training an automatically got put on a quota. If you do not hit quota, they will fire you. They only look at numbers. Not any other factors like working overtime or the time invested that you put in. Do not work for this company.

      * Interesting problems * Some very talented coworkers * Seems like they are trying to fix some of the issues, but totally missing the mark * Remnants of the older, more laidback culture still exist

      Cons

      I worked here for a couple years, and saw almost all of the most talented developers leave. * Low pay * Abusive management creates toxic culture * Features are prioritized above bug fixes to an reasonable extent. The result is half-working products that don't sell (Barracuda's core business) * Deadlines doomed from the start, the result of which is employees working overtime, without compensation, or suffer management abuse * Popularity contest * No clear company direction * Lots of reorganization going on currently

      Pros

      About the only thing I can think of at this point is the free soda and beer, and even the beer is limited in quantity and quality. After doing the stars rating, I'll concede that the life/work balance is ok. You can go home at a decent hour during non-critical times without any social/cultural hits from your peers/managers.

      Cons

      Sub standard pay for the area. Think in the neighborhood of a 30% differential. The company didn't make its projected earnings, though it still made a profit, and has $180M+ cash (after liabilities, etc.) on hand. So of course, that means it's time to "tighten our belts". The company keeps promising "we're not doing layoffs", which is Dilbert speak for "Get your resume ready". Sales team managers are locking salespeople in rooms yelling "this isn't a discussion" and then starting to berate them. Morale is low. The ship is sinking. People are heading for the lifeboats.
