Independence, talented co-workers and meaningful work.

Cons

The culture can be atrocious depending on the location. The management style of some is rife with fear, intimidation and sarcasm. Examples "you are all C players," "I might as well fire you all and do the job myself," "my job is three hundred times more important than yours," "I need to make at least $300,000, YES, those are real quotes.

management decentralized when some aspects of the company should be centralized compensation, no raises...not even for cost of living training for positions bestowed upon employees Directors act like a boys club, not leaders
