      Pros

      Barry has a very caring, community feel. Excellent values/mission driven. Flexible work environment. Innovative and industry standard technology. Historical tie to founding.

      Cons

      Salaries are below average and many have very low wages by Miami standards. There is a lack of goals and individual accountability and management.Small budgets and scarce resources.

      Pros

      Great benefits. Depending on what department you work in, it feels more like family as opposed to coworkers and people who are strangers. Use of facilities and wellness classes are free as well as parking which is rare when working at a University.

      Cons

      HR is a terrible department and quite often self-serving. Additionally, the University is having major problems with student retention so it would be surprising if the University had issues staying open.
