There are not very many opportunities for growth within the company. You are also expected to work in departments in which you are not trained to prevent the company from having to hire.

Management here is a joke. This store completely has thrown out Bass Pro's culture and views right out of the window. Every Manager including the HR is out for themselves and lie about their associates to save themselves. There is no accountability for any actions and Managers picking favorites is a huge problem at this store. If you are looking for retail to be your career, stay away from Bass Pro Shops. Learning retail this way will surely make you out to become a liar, a cheat, an unethical person, and kill any kind of morals you may have. Johnny Morris and Jim Hagle needs to seriously get more involved about what kind of Managers are being hired at their stores.
