Pros

There are not any pros working for this company.

Cons

Management sucks, health benefits and pay are poor. The job makes you not have a life. The scheduling is terrible. The HR manager has no problem double crossing you and firing you.

Pros

Great discounts. Some of the employees are awesome and fun to work with. It is a lot of fun to work with customers from around the world on a daily basis.

Cons

The management in this store is a complete and utter joke, but it's not a funny joke. The GM took the ability to give Star Cards away from the GSMs and only allows the upper staff to give them out. When the list of those being rewarded with a Star Card is posted (to inform everyone about the on-site luncheon) it seems to include the same people month after month after month. Regardless of how many customer commendations other associates get, the associates involved rarely (if ever) get recognized for their hard work. Only the "chosen" favorites get Star Cards, and hence, a $10 gift card. Many of the GSMs threaten to cut hours if employees don't obtain enough credit applications. This is no doubt a result of upper management pushing the GSMs to push their employees to ensure a substantial bonus (for certain managers) for meeting monthly application goals, The affected managers are more concerned about their own financial bonuses than they are about their employees and their families. For much of the months of July and August the A/C was out, allowing extreme temperatures on the second floor. Management kept telling us that "they're working on it right now" and "the a/c will be running over night so it will feel much better tomorrow" and "it's the Silverton's (the casino the Las Vegas store is attached to, and the landlord of the space the store sits on) problem". One brave employee finally called OSHA to complain (I'm sure that person will be fired when management finds out who it is), which resulted in a notice and request for more information from OSHA. The store's response was extremely misleading and borders on absolute falsehoods.
