Pros

There are very few Pros for this company other then maybe the discounts but even then you are constantly reminded on the inability of the people on the top of the pole are at running this company!!! There are a lot of good people that work for this company and at one point in time many years ago this company was more like a family and everyone had a good time.

Cons

The biggest downsides of the this company is the pay, the people in charge of running this company, and the conditions of some of the facilities of a multimillion dollar company. There are communication problems from top to bottom and a change in some of the policies need to be done. I know that recognition of employees is far and in between and very few times is an advancement given out. The company would rather bring in someone from the outside instead of hiring from within. In the department that I work in there is a huge turnover and that makes it a huge challenge from one year to the next.

Pros

Can't complain about the discount and I've met lots of good friend working there. It's nice to see lots of the new stuff that comes in.

Cons

Employees are disposable at this place and zero trust by management even with long term employees. Want to bring your gun in to get some help tweaking your trigger, or bring in your bow to shoot on your lunch break? No can do we're afraid of employee theft. I have a BPS email and sent an email to store level management about some concerns I had (store related not personal) and got scolded for my "outburst". The email was very professional and was written solely for the benefit of the customer. Some people are recognized for hard work, but most of us bust our tails for little or no recognition.
