Pros

They work around your schedule, you'll get ample free time while they consistently not give you any hours, you'll get to visit lots of fairs...so I guess Funnel cake. If you can do this you can pretty much sell anything, and you get to work by yourself.

Cons

You can easily be replaced by a sign or a website. Your job is to generate leads (and do most the work) for the sales staff while making a 0.0001 % commission, no benefits, and slightly higher than min. wage. You generate sales leads mainly in places where people are in no way, shape or form interested in remodeling their bathrooms (motorcycle rallies, poverty stricken county fairs, etc) and the best is you are not allowed to discuss cost...at all...not even a ballpark. Your supervisor is spiteful, oh and you often have to put up your own money for things (gas, fair admission, parking) Also the quotas are ridiculous.

Pros

It's a job...you do get SOME money!

Cons

To the employee who posted a review on Sept.18th...you have worked at Bath Fitter for 5 years?....I worked at Bath Fitter for 8 Years!. You say the pay is GREAT? Which state and office do you work out of?. You also commented about the commissioned employees pay. For your information, during the 8 years I worked for Bath Fitter, the office I worked out of had an increase in the bottom price of the product at least EVERY TWO YEARS! This equates to an AUTOMATIC INCREASE IN Pay for the estimators and installers. Even in a BAD WEEK, if they made commission on sales totaling lets say $6000, they were making more than my TWO week net pay! However, this monetary luxury DOES NOT APPLY to salaried or hourly employees! There were only 5 persons in our office that had seniority over me, but I was the ONLY one, salaried or hourly who hadn't received a raise in 7.5 years. You also stated that the negative reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. Unless you're seeing something that the Majority OF US who submitted negative reviews are not seeing, you're pretty hard pressed in defending your position. Happy Sailing!
