commercial sales is the worse job i could have taken. i want to transfer but i'm a work horse stuck unable to move because of the manager and my buddy is making 5 times what i make in home sales and works 10 hours a week compared to my 40. he saves 5 times what i do. i have been able to make no money because the commission is so low and so is the salary and i walk around like a dog with a chip in it and am too tired to take on a second job. the only way i can get into home sales to make good money is to move my family to another state.i loathe the manager that is using me and ruining our lives. i am so depressed every day and get little sleep thinking about the income i am missing out on.

Management for retail operations is a bit of a mess. Significant turnover in upper management created lack on continuity with policy and procedures for retail operations. Good quality branch managers in some locations and really poor managers on other locations so a bit uneven there. Impression was that you needed to be more of a yes man than come to the table with ideas that could improve the company. Management not open to conversations regarding process improvement from retail staff. Human resources department is tasked with keeping company from getting sued by former employees and as such its difficult to manage poor employees when the issue is behavioral and not performance based. No real opportunity for advancement on the retail side beyond branch manager level.
