Hours can sometimes be few, personally didn't receive a lot of training before I was thrown onto the cash register (which was my first experience ever cashiering). Struggled to get the hang of it but once you do you're pretty much a pro. Customers can be a little crazy sometimes, and coupon policies are definitely confusing if you're new to them.

The company is in a rough patch right now. Trying to restructure management, pushing sales per hour, and making the sales structure way too competitive. The sales per hour structure is pushing customers away, because they can tell that the associate is no longer genuine, and is instead only interested in how many dollars the customer is going to spend.
