Negative environment, poor management, culture of patient pleasing. Even to the point of being ridiculous. This hospital does not treat their nurses well at all. Worst paying hospital in baton rouge

Pros

Most of the staff at the midcity campus are what makes working at brgmc an enjoyable experience. There is usually always a need for employee's. You can have fun outside of work with co-workers and come back to work and be professional.

Cons

The hospital suffers financially and the ER was on the verge of closing. The pay isn't all that great.

Pros

I love my coworkers. We're a family. We help and look out for one another. When one is struggling to keep up, others do whatever they can to help lighten the load.

Cons

My particular experience with current management has been cordial at best. I don't feel like my current manager is an advocate for nurses. And this manager has less clinical experience than the nurses she/he supervises.
