      Pros

      Great pay Great benefits Great opportunity for advancement if you have supportive management chain Great place to advance if you take control of your career and use the many tools Battelle offers to succeed Flexible work arrangements dependent on position and management support.

      Cons

      Morale is currently low due to reorganizations, voluntary retirement and voluntary severance, removal of pension program, and closure of regional offices as resultant of both downturn/decrease in DOD budgets and Battelles attempt at leaning out the organization to continue to be a profitable organization and stabilize its finances for future expansion and growth. Few women in leadership roles in male-dominated post military career culture.

      Constant workload Exposure to Leadership Diverse Experiences Can work from home on the weekends and evenings. Mass Exodus of talent has left management jobs for those that stayed behind.

      Cons

      Culture is Horrible - 6.5 day work week is normal - 9 to 11 hour work day - Always looking to upgrade employees - Mass exodus of talent over the last 2 years - Highly values competition over collaboration. - Leadership values self worth over team achievement. Benefits are below average versus local employers. Pay is above average but you will earn every dollar. Company is clearly wanting a 3 year and leave culture.

      Pros

      The company does interesting work in many fields. It has always been interesting to know that you're involved in some level in so many things that can contribute to society.

      Cons

      Constant restructuring has led to good workers walking out the door. Workload is extremely demanding with few resources to assist.
