Pros

on-site gym; competitive benefits (health, vision, dental); 401(k); discounted access to Chicago-area attractions.

Cons

The employee is the last to be considered in anything. Depending on your level in the company, little to no advancement opportunities. The Executive Assistant role is de-valued, not considered essential, required to support multiple VP's, company views this role as someone who does calendaring, travel, expenses-nothing more, not someone who generates value. When the CEO shares an Assistant with the CHRO it sends a very clear message to the rest of the administrative staff.
