      Hillrom in Skaneateles Falls, NY made some poor decisions during the pandemic. A medical device company that manufactures and sells medical thermometers, vital sign monitors, and hospital beds sold more than expected in 2020. How did they reward their employees? With coerced early retirements and layoffs. By the end of 2020, the company was woefully understaffed and management had no intentions of filling in the gaps or supporting the remaining employees. We lost several very knowledgeable long-time employees and suffered for it.

We are not sure which location you worked in, but your point on location is fair, and due to the sheer size of several sites, they are usually located outside of central cities.       Benefits are a plus. That’s about it

      Cons

      Management is terrible and unprofessional. Overtime can be thrust upon you at end of shift. If unable to work overtime that’s handed to you 5 mins to shift completion pto is then used.
