Pros

great company and lots of growth potential with good compensation. Most people are wonderful to work with and there is a culture of collaboration. Corporate support is great!

Cons

New site leadership is changing the culture and the environment is becoming a toxic. Many feel like it's management by fear and they are losing good employees quickly. This is creating high turnover. This not the case at all sites, but it is the case at the Thousand Oaks site.

Pros

People that I work with, good teamwork. Most groups get along with each other and most of them work hard to achieve common goals.

Cons

No work/life balance and the salary is below industry average. The company push for cycle time without understanding of impact onquality. Senior management who are in charge lack understanding of people and are clueless about issues on the floor. Management use the "walk out" method to intimidate current employees. People who are promoted are yes man not necessarily the most competent people as the promotion process is inconsistent and biased.

Pros

Working at the corporate HQ, I got to know many who worked there. Walking through the corridors with a smile on my face, most people returned the favor.

Cons

It is easy to get caught up in the politics of what is expediant and easy instead of following the stated company policies. While people are not outright breaking the rules set forth, they are clearly skirting policies they should not. This practice, in turn, causes upper management to change policies that work into ones that ultimately don't because of false or skewed data.
