Great work place with good pay and benefits, but no job security.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Continued training.

Cons

The company cares more about the shareholders than the employees. Will cut budget everywhere even if it means outsourcing to different country some of the job functions.

Sr. Project Manager

Pros

Very flexible for work life balance. Decent pay for the work.

Cons

Lack of leadership direction. No career path. Constant change in priorities. The new leadership team is more concerned about short term gain than long term sustainability. The new CEO needs to increase profitability at any cost to ensure he gets his bonus. Baxter is now only a manufacturing company as the Sr. Scientists that were lauded as the drivers of the companies success have all been eliminated and the innovation they supported is no longer there.
