Thanks for the review; we do love the shoutout to your manager and co-workers! We also loved you noting work-life balance and how career development is encouraged. This is important to us as we offer many opportunities, and ACE check-ins are a key part of our culture where discussions centre around growth and development. Our culture is built on a foundation of DE&I and is reflected in how we act, think and, most importantly, how our employees feel. Therefore we have a zero-tolerance policy toward discriminatory behaviour, and we recommend you reach out to your HR teams to discuss this.

Pros

It seems like other sites/departments other than Skaneateles could be great to work at if they put some work into making it that way. I have noticed that if you are a manager this would be a great place to work for 6 months to a year and get it on your resume. Most of the people who work here are fantastic and want to do a great job. The campus is very nice. It could be a great place to work if they stopped trying to do the amount of work 10 people should be doing with only 2.

Cons

Employee safety is not valued. Some of the managers that work here are out of touch with the people doing the work, so the outcomes are never what they report. Manufacturing is unnecessarily hectic, unrealistic, and has a high turnover (I wonder why) leading to plans not getting executed, leading to the poor work environment. Poor management - they are not in your corner and don't help you do your job. They will make promises to get you in the door, then the promises go out the window. No planning, you need to get the work done by unrealistic dates even though they don't understand the work that needs to be done. Don't plan on taking the vacation that they want you to take, that will get cancelled.

This review is tough to read, and though we are pleased that you work with fantastic people and the campus is nice - we are sorry you're having this experience with us. If you're open to it, we would like to discuss this directly with you if you would like to reach out to us directly at BaxterCares@baxter.com. Thanks for even considering this and for the feedback; hard though as it is to read.
