      Pros

      Good company with great benefits, and bonuses. Overall the company has great direction and the previous culture has been shaken up with the new CEO and that has been good for company profits.

      Cons

      Organization I worked in was still not maturing from the culture change shake up. The organization still relied on outside vendors and already outsourced vendor to drive direction and management of key processes.

      Pros

      -People cared about doing things right, even if they prioritized it differently than you. -Manufacturing plants are just interesting places to work. There is always a problem/upgrade/audit to tackle. This might be stressful for some (especially depending on your department or role). For engineering, I found it exciting.

      Cons

      -Firefighting -Pharmaceutical companies are bureaucratic. It's their nature. -There were definitely some not-so-bright engineers mixed in with the bright ones. Not sure if this is a con so much as a fact of life: You're not going to get promoted. You need to change companies/departments if you want to advance. -Women got funneled into Quality roles. Almost no women in leadership. -Very stingy with holiday and vacation: 2 weeks vacation for the first 5 years, 2-3 days for christmas and new years (depending if it fell on a weekend).
