      Lots of opportunities, if you're willing to move

      Cons

      Management does not respect hourly employees. They always assume employees are trying to get out of work. Does not take safety seriously. Expects the safety manager to carry the load. This does not apply to all the sites.

      Pay is good. Benefits are good. You have opportunity to grow and learn new things.

      Too much red tape so things move very slowly.

      Pros

      Great heritage, great product line - not blockbusters but all medically important. Great people, both in US and internationally. Strong international presence. Competitive salary and benefits. New CEO is breathing life into the company.

      Cons

      Tough decisions had been put off for too long, so capital investment and R&D / marketing investment not focused enough resulting in product lines not staying refreshed enough to remain leaders. Too much focus on trying to acquire growth rather than build organically. Because acquisitions not made for sound strategic reasons, most failed spectacularly.
