Company is very good at establishing north star and strategy. Business units great at rallying around it and executing.

Limited career advancement if you aren't located in Northern Illinois

Pros

Stable company - lot of long time employees Opportunities for growth (if you work in the right areas) Smart people - very pleased with how intelligent and supportive coworkers were Quality of life - hours were reasonable even with high profile projects

Cons

Some employees are better at managing up vs managing down -- no upward feedback into reviews on leadership Tough commute if you want to live in Chicago (working in Deerfield) Lot of approvals required to get things done
