Pros

For the most part, Bayer has the lowest "jerk ratio" of any company I have worked with. My colleagues are generally lovely.

Cons

I was excited that they really seemed to be trying to embrace a culture of Diversity & Inclusion...and then with great fanfare they announced the successful candidates for 14 new leadership roles- 12 were men, and most were white. Also, if you are not German or at least based in Germany, forget about trying to advance in global roles. The Monsanto acquisition was a debacle.
