Pros

The benefits due to the company's affiliation with Baylor are amazing such as the insurance, 401k plan, tuition reimbursement, and a competitive PTO after working a year you acquire a little over 7 hours per pay period. The company as a whole is attempting to improve.

Cons

The raise for the 2017 was less than $.50 per hour, and the bonus was about $200. The leadership is disconnected leadership , and there is nepotism in leadership as well.

Pros

Administration expresses willingness to improve the lab with efficiency and technology.

Cons

Most departments have no knowledgeable supervisors. Higher management can't tell who is really working or earning increases. A hard worker is more likely to be taken to task for a routine mistake than someone who always does as little work as possible. Departments that stand to improve from the kaizen approach are hopelessly tied down by office politics, manipulation, and favor.
