Lack of support for physicians, overwhelmed staff due to insufficient support staff being hired. Too much emphasis on “leaders” and accomplishement by leaders. Everyone else is a team member (like Walmart type of mentality) with no real input. Lots of selective abdication of responsibility type of behavior at the manager and above levels when things go wrong and the blame is placed on the lower levels (same folks are happy to claim responsibility when something works). Frustrating as hell. No staff development. Wouldn’t reccomend to a fellow physician unless near the end of your career and just looking for a place to work for 2-3 yrs before retiring.
