      Pros

      Support and training, and clarity of goals. Strong cross-team efforts as Baystate forges through changes in health care.

      Cons

      High leadership turnover, which is still settling down.

      Pros

      Baystate is constantly striving to improve patient safety and satisfaction. There are sincere efforts being made to culture a celebration of diversity and a general feeling of being valued. I am very happy in my department and current position.

      Cons

      The employee benefits, from healthcare coverage to retirement, leave something to be desired. In an effort to maintain an appropriate profit margin, long time employees have seen many benefits minimized or taken away completely. It does, however, need to be recognized that the national healthcare system in general, is struggling and I believe that Baystate needs to make cuts to stay afloat. Unfortunately, it is the employees that are feeling the pain the most.
