CEO (Ertel) is one of the most intelligent minds in the investment industry.

Cons

Far below market pay (both base and bonus). Mediocre benefits. Many of senior management are checked out and take credit for the work of others. Lack of transparency. Founder/CEO is key to the company so when he retires (he does not need to work), unclear what will happen.

Good Role to Break in with, Not much upward mobility

peers all seemed to have the same goals and intentions as myself during my time so it was easy to connect with them. My day was tied to the market so I rarely worked late.

Cons

limited upward mobility Performance reviews based on EXTRA work you do. Ex- falling below satisfactory for not taking on EXTRA work. Limited learning opportunities Burnout Technology is archaic. Outlook would go down several times a week it seemed like. tough when you're trading exclusively through emails. Management unwilling to upgrade from a cost standpoint or uncomfortable with innovation. When i would screenshare with IT to troubleshoot an issue they would legit gasp at the age of my OS. Expected to work through lunch micro management Low pay For employee appreciation day they got a MAGICIAN.
