Decent Work environment for non-leads

Pros

Leadership growth - BeMobile offers leadership courses as well as classes on having tough conversations with others (Crucial Accountability). - great pay if at the right location - Some store Leaders can make 75k + others make about 40k

Cons

Store leaders have sales goals that essentially require the manager to work against their team to make sales. This is better for the store leader, but worse for the team which can cause higher turn-over at lower tier stores. Store leaders often put in more than 45-50 hours per week (sometimes way more depending on staff and time of year) - sometimes with no extra benefits unless customer count is high. Upper management will side with customer reviews and reprimand employees based off a review before knowing the whole story.

Thank you for your feedback and review. Store Leader pay plans do include selling which helps to stay in tune with customer and sales trends. The Store Leader pay plan goals are designed to align with front-line pay plans. A Store Leader should never work against their team. Yes, you are right that leaders should be trusted to handle customer reviews and that is valuable feedback that will be acted upon. Thank you again.

Pros

The direct supervisors are good at staying involved and supporting their teams. There is good earning potential as long as you are in a location that gets enough traffic. And you can have decent working hours. There is a lot of training on how to sell the products and services.

Cons

The commission structure only continues to raise quotas so that you have to do more to make the same. And also puts people in a slower location at a big disadvantage often making less money than before. Also customer service can be a struggle at times dealing with customers that don’t understand that you are sales and not tech support.
