Pros

There was nothing good about this company at all

Cons

Everything!! The pay suck, mangers didn’t communicate at all. I start off as a DSP and moved to a floater DSP due to co woker not able to do they job. Got harass from that co woker up until I got fired. Mangers didn’t want to give me a schedule. Had to have someone else talk to the manger weekly for a schedule switch was very unprofessional. Got fired for supposedly being on company property when never was. Cops got called from the co worker that harassed me saying I was a a threat. Which the cops didn’t see it that way since they let me go and said I didn’t have to move my car since it was on the public street. But still got fired for nothing and that co woker got to keep they job which never understand how. And even though they say they do background checks they don’t. It’s a lie. And most of the people that work there shouldn’t due to neglecting clients. Even mangers are doing things that ain’t right for the clients. This company only see the money and don’t care to care for the clients. When they had the $2,000 bonus that was a lie they tax everyone for the bonus and that’s if they even got it a lot of people didn’t get they money due to some BS. No training at all. Overall CPS and the cops should look into this company. If I could this no stars I would!!

Hi there, sorry to hear about your negative experience with your co worker. We'd happy to say we do conduct background checks on all employees prior to their first shifts and we most definitely care for the Individuals we serve. That's what makes Beacon stand out! The bonus is taxed per state and Federal law. And of course we do provide on-the-job training at no cost to our employees, as well as follow on trainings through our compliance team, Learning & Development team, and more.

Pros

Working with the residents and helping them with their goals

Cons

The only option is 12hour days. The pay is not worth the amount of work your expected to preform. You can not depend on the next shift to arrive on time if they show up at all

Thank you for your feedback! We have flex shifts available but unfortunately have to stick with the 12-hour shifts for now. Good luck with your future endeavors.
