Ego Driven, Clueless Leadership in Claims

Claims team is led by yes men/women who will micromanage, lie to , and sabotage their own teams to get ahead. They use phrases like "strategy", "big picture," "sophisticated" and other Dilbert-esque cliches and pretend to be magnanimous business leaders but a more apt description is gorillas trying to open a locked suit case.

Lack of Leadership, Vision, and Clarity on Claims

Cons

Lack of sophistication, business savvy, and clarity on vision and execution are crushing morale and driving down business results. Restructures galore can't hide the lack of leadership, business savvy, and clarity, especially on the claims team, which is led by yes men/women who are more worried about whether they have a secretary than taking care of their people. The claims team is losing people as are all teams at Beazley and the only solution from Beazley is to pretend there is something wrong with the people that are leaving.

Senior staff is not great at performance management. There are a number of managers who struggle with evaluating talent, prioritizing demand, and cross departmental collaberation.
