Bechtel executes some amazing projects around the world.

Cons

Senior management is out of touch with the reality of the needs and desires of today's workforce and there is very little to no communication from management down to the troops.

Pros

The ability to work on a variety or projects througout the world and interact with professionals in a variety of disciplines. The work can involve power plants, civil infrastructure, oil, gas and chemicals, communications, mining, and goivernment projects.

Cons

If you are not willing to relocate several times in the course of your career, this is not the place to work.

Pros

For me the best reason is the encouragement to build your career and vy for opportunities that exist within Bechtel. The other one is the opportunity to work overseas which boosts up your experience and knowledge of working with people from different cultures. There is an emphasis on Safety across all locations worldwide which makes it one of the safest companies to work with and is appreciated and recognised by the Clients. The other emphasis is on Quality which is an eyecatcher for the Clients but the purpose is really to provide quality service and product to the Customers. Lastly, Bechtel has established covenants which all employees are encouraged to adhere to. Morally speaking, I am glad I work for Bechtel.

Cons

The downside of working at Bechtel is that if your job is such that you have to be based on a project then, one can get tired after sometime and above that there is sometimes an uncertainty over finding another project at a suitable site with right career oppurtunities when an assignment end time approaches.
