Pros

Good company, very helpful, good pay, working with the clients warms your heart, your supervisor want to see you do good

Cons

Clients cancel often, they will deny time off if it’s to many days, they will let you call off but it’s look bad when you go for senior

Pros

Great training, and the kiddos are the highlight of the job. It is a great entry-level job to enter in the career field.

Cons

Not enough pay, a lot of driving, and the pay it is basically a part-time job. I don't think I ever worked full-time. They tell you after a certain amount of time you will work full time, but you don't, and when client cancels, you basically make no money. Not a steady pay.

Pros

They provide great training and the pay is okay. The work itself is rewarding when your kiddo improves on some things. The case managers are great at communicating with us and a big help if you have any questions or concerns. The monthly meetings are great to get everyone on the same page and update their file for new programs or regrouping. This job requires a lot of patience and love and care. Cancelling sessions is easy and they don't give you a hard time as long as it's done hours before so they can find a replacement.

Cons

I think it's a lot of work for the pay. It can get overwhelming at first because you're new (If you don't have previous experience working with children on the spectrum). The work itself can get lonely when working with non-verbal kiddos and it can begin to feel like repetitive work. Hours are not promised. If the client cancels, you lose those hours if you aren't given a replacement for the day.
