Pros

Our clinical supervisor was good but she only lasted a few weeks.

Cons

I am going to school for behavior analysis and this is NOT the place I want to practice as a BCBA. Not once has there been a conversation on treatment fidelity or clinical efficacy. Managers are held to some business metrics only. Training for RBTs is completely absent after the certification.

Pros

Only the children and coworkers

Cons

No help from upper management. BCBAs are overloaded with tasks, and not able to update client programs, so therapy becomes inefficient and therefore unethical. No bathroom breaks for RBTs. Contract not honored, full-time never given. Paid less than the gas station next door. Do not expect work-life balance because schedule changes daily and you are given three to four hour breaks in the middle of the day.
