Pros

- Strong Collaborative Culture: Everyone is deeply passionate about ABA and helping their clients. There's a great sense of shared mission and dedication. - Exceptional Professional Development: Constant learning opportunities with access to multiple curriculums, allowing you to consult with BCBAs of various backgrounds and never feel limited to one method. - Supportive Environment from Top to Bottom: Management genuinely cares about their staff, actively working to ensure BTs receive excellent support and feel comfortable in their work environment. - Transparent Incentive Structure: Clear, well-defined criteria on how to meet bonuses. - Abundant Resources: The company provides helpful tools and resources to keep you organized and set you up for success.

Cons

Self-Management: This role requires a high degree of autonomy. Success and sustainability depend heavily on your ability to self-organize, manage a demanding schedule, and set firm boundaries to prevent burnout. Meeting hourly requirements may require coverage sessions. - Management: Some clinical supervisors are still completing their own higher education, which can sometimes lead to gaps in oversight and support. - Compensation Structure: BCBA pay is competitive with the market. However, the pay scale for Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) could be higher. Offering more incentives for BTs would acknowledge their vital role and help attract and retain top talent for this crucial position.

Pros

Flexible schedules, responsive leadership, supportive culture, and growth opportunities. BLN is one of the few companies where employee feedback genuinely leads to action—management listens closely and regularly incorporates suggestions, which makes you feel like a valued part of the team. The onboarding is thorough, the supervisors are accessible, and the work-life balance is better than most. It’s a mission-driven place with a team that really cares.

Cons

Some growing pains as systems evolve and benefits could be more robust.

Pros

I've been with BLN for a little over a year now, and it's been the most supportive and motivating work environment I’ve experienced as a BCBA. The leadership team genuinely listens and follows through on feedback, and there's a strong culture of mentorship and collaboration. I never feel like I’m on my own. The flexible scheduling has made a huge difference in my work life balance, and the clear expectations and systems keep everything running smoothly (which isn’t always the case in this field). The culture is inclusive, professional, and fun. People here really care.

Cons

Honestly, not much. That said, this role is best suited for people who are truly passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children. If you're looking for a job that's strictly about personal convenience, this might not be the right fit. But for those who care deeply about the work, it's an incredibly rewarding place to be.
