Pros
Found the core job duties to be easy and I enjoyed working with most associates, and most of the store leadership.
Cons
Was thrown into the fire at the store level and took longer to train on some areas than I would have preferred. Watched managers gossip and mistreat other associates and get away with it. Any mistake I made was met with scrutiny to the point where my days off were spent anxiously waiting to go back to work to figure out what else I did wrong. These were typically minor learning curve errors, but were constantly presented in a way to undermine my competence. When reporting an instance of workplace misconduct to the store manager, I have a feeling the store manager approached the associate in question in a way that revealed my involvement in the report. I was treated poorly and met with hostility. After realizing nothing was going to change, I left.
