OK place to start a management career if you don't mind sacrificing a normal life

-Opportunity to meet a lot of people in the local community -Belk gives back to their local communities through Semi-Annual Charity Sale -Decent associate discount (though it was better with Parisian) but extra associate discounts during certain times of the year
Cons
-No real opportunity to have a healthy work/life balance unless you're a Store Manager or Regional VP -Sales Managers are expected to work extremely long hours, missing time with family and friends, for salaries which, on average, are less than those earned working similar positions for its competitors. Though STMs do the grunt work in the store to ensure the profitability of the stores, only Assistant Store Managers and Store Managers qualify for annual bonuses based on the success(es) of those efforts and countless hours spent working
