      Pros

      my coworkers and managers were amazing. Great contests and rewarded for meeting goals.

      Cons

      the customer base is really rude. The company expects you to get a credit card application for every 19 hours you work. Your raises are based on the credit cards and your sales per an hour. I worked at a very slow Belk and meeting these goals was a joke.

      Belk is a good company to work for overall. They are growing and seem secure for the long term, which says a lot in retail right now.

      Cons

      They ask a lot of their managers, you have to have your hands in everything whether it's your responsibility or not.
