Pros

i love going to work because the managers are so nice and easy to get along with. overall a great company and i really enjoy my time there.

Cons

they wont hire anyone for cosmetics and sometimes as a part time worker i feel like i am being taken advantage of because they make me work long hours but dont promote me to full time.

Pros

Hours can increase quickly, with much advanced requested time off -it is granted, do not need assistance in overrides, pretty busy/consistent loyal customers, if you like retail it's absolutely for you. Good about working around school schedules (college)

Cons

Hours can dwindle easily, customers take advantage of reward points and end up returning a lot of merchandise, not meeting monthly sales demands are detrimental to hourly wages (stupid). i work part-time but get full time hours because i was told at hire that there could be no more full time hires. i go from 19 to 41 hours in a week _ paycheck equals gas money.

it can be very exciting at times.i met some hard core retail people and learned alot after becoming a manager.

Cons

down fall....company finds ways to cut your pay. meet your sales goal but not your credit goal, pay cut. as for managers you can get wrote up if your staff does not meet goals. most managers have been in a salary freeze since the ecomney went bad.
