Pros

Company is constantly growing and taking on new properties. A lot of opportunity to work at new properties and learn the industry.

Cons

Unfortunately, very cliquey. Higher ups play favorites and don't always discuss growth opportunities with those seeking advancement, but rather who they want to keep on their teams.

Pros

The company was more advanced in their technological approach to leasing, having implemented CRM and consistently applying new tools to assist in the leasing process. The values of the company are as a whole very appealing, and it is small enough as a family grown company to have some level of connection. My property was organized, which made the process much less maddening.

Cons

Acquisitions are a part of this Industry. Though I was lead to believe I would have a full time job at the end of an acquisition deal, I was laid off one week prior to the sale. The knowledge was hidden in order to benefit the deal and give an ethical amount of time for the employee to make arrangements and find work. No severance was given, and in the meeting, though I asked for a chance to apply for one of the opening full time positions (as my performance was higher than even one of the full time employees, and I was awarded Top Performer every quarter of my time at Bell, and Star Performer (with 100% ratings in all categories), there was no value placed on me as an employee, and I was let go. As a person that places value on performance, sales targets, customer service, and overall work performance, it came as a shock that this company did not value any of that in their decision to let me go. I left the leasing/property management industry with no regrets, as I believe politics were valued over practical and ethical values. If you are talented in drive, performance, sales, you should invest in a more sensible industry that will value you and compensate you for performance, financially and with basic expectations of job security.

Thank you very much for taking the time to submit such a thorough review. Acquisitions at times are not always handled the same but we hate to hear we potentially gave a good employee a negative experience in transition. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further about any of your experience working at Bell. We are interested in collecting feedback to learn and to pass on. Please feel free to email us at Careers@BellPartnersInc.com and provide us with more insight into your past experience with us. All feedback can be kept confidential.

Pros

The pay is great. Depending on the property, you have opportunities to participate in Area Association events. Benefits are also good-paid time off, health insurance, etc.

Cons

Lack of training.. you're supposed to be given a "Bell Buddy" but that tends to never happen. They promote individuals to higher positions without in my opinion interviewing them enough..... The VP doesn't seem to care about the property staff when she's on site.

Thanks for the review - we appreciate you taking the time to do so. We are glad to know the pay and benefits are indeed beneficial to our associates. You are right, we are in the middle of revamping the "Bell Buddy" program and that will be coming back to life this year. Our regional leadership and Sr leadership teams work very hard to ensure the best culture/work environment for each team and community but sometimes things do slip through and we want to address those! If you would like to discuss further and offer suggestions, please email us at Careers@BellPartnersInc.com. Thank you again for the review!
