Pros
Bellarmine truly does its best to create a community with values, and some incredible people work there. Work feels meaningful and important to the community.
Cons
Because of its efforts to be fair and promote equity, things like raises rarely come, because if they can't give it to everyone, no one gets one. Merit raises only happen very quietly. Salaries and benefits have noticeably declined in recent years due to budget challenges, and it doesn't seem like they're bouncing back any time soon. Career pathways are completely dependent upon the VP--in some branches of the org, everyone is promoted regularly; in others, there are no promotions.
