They have recently acquired results physiotherapy and are truly much more concerned about money in than the employees. Every meeting is nearly fully about the units you charge and the times per week you see a patient. They penalize or pressure therapists if they do not see people at least three times per week. They regularly have conversations about how therapists can bill more units, but try to act as if it is for the benefit of the patient and say as much but cannot demonstrate any literature or evidence that proves that this is effective. It would almost be better if they said that they are clearly money motivated but this is what they are told to do. Truly, this is not a good company to work for unless you want education. Every good person I know is leaving this company or planning to leave. I take no pleasure in being so negative, but at some point in time, things changed with this company and they are so money hungry that they barely talk about clinical excellency in any meetings any more. If you absolutely wanted a residency or fellowship, you could potentially sacrifice a couple of years but I would steer clear. This is a company that is known for throwing pizza parties for their employees that would give them 5 stars on glassdoor. There's also toxic masculinitiy aplenty in this company. This is not where you will learn to be a good physical therapist. Many people can end up seeing 15-25 patients a day and be expected to get documentation done on time. Beware, truly. I would sacrifice pay and benefits 10/10 to not work here again. Sidenote: they don't pay very well. Benefits are decent.
