Pros

Very unlikely to be laid off. Two stars just for job security.

Cons

Mandatory overtime all year long with no exceptions. Poor management. No incentive for long term employment or promotions. New, inexperienced employees will likely be making more than long term experienced employees. During yearly review you will receive a raise to bring your pay back to the minimum of your pay range. HR and management do nothing about repeated harassment. Poor performing employees will be compensated the same as the hardest working employees. You are almost rewarded for poor performance by being given easier tasks. You are required to take several classes to align with processes and procedures. None of those procedures apply when management overcommits to the customers. ESD, QSR, verbal instructions, deviating from the processes, basically everything being drilled into employees as a critical goes out the window. Promotions are solely provided through favoritism. Qualification does not matter as long as you are friendly with management.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with our company. We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience, given your 20-year tenure with the company, and we take your concerns very seriously. We understand that mandatory overtime can be challenging, and we apologize if it has caused difficulties for you. We also apologize if you feel that our management has not been supportive, and we would like to assure you that we are committed to creating a positive and respectful workplace for all of our employees. We are eliminating Mandatory Overtime this year and are moving to Volunteer only. Regarding your concerns about compensation, promotions, and performance evaluations, we are committed to ensuring that our policies and practices are fair and transparent. We appreciate your feedback on these issues, and we will take steps to address them. This is part of our 2023 action plan to address these issues. Additionally, we are disappointed that you feel that our HR and management teams have not responded adequately to harassment claims. We take all claims of harassment seriously, and we will investigate any reported incidents and take appropriate action to ensure that our employees are safe and respected. We encourage you to contact our Ethics Hotline immediately at www.bench.ethicspoint.com or USA 1-844-689-1742. Reports will be investigated, and if substantiated, resolved through appropriate corrective action. Those found to have violated our Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary action, including termination of employment. If you choose to identify yourself when making a report, you will be provided feedback when the Chief Compliance Officer has completed the review. If you wish to report a concern or alleged violation in confidence, confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible, although limited disclosure may be necessary in some cases to effectively conduct an investigation or where compelled by applicable law. Employees are required to cooperate in internal investigations. Retaliation against an employee for filing an ethics complaint is a violation of the Company’s policy of nonretaliation and protection of those reporting concerns. We are committed to creating a positive and rewarding experience for all of our employees, and we appreciate your input as we work to achieve that goal.

Pros

You will never go home early unless you want to. The stability of knowing you will get your 40 hours a week as a full time employee is a plus.

Cons

-Loss of valuable employees -Pay is too low -Workload is too high -Expectations from new people is too high -Proper training is scarce at best -New people train new people -No proper planning -No recognition for above and beyond work -Those that do the bare minimum get better recognition -You have to start as a temp -The people that know what they are doing are leaving -Management has no idea how much work actually goes into a job position but still expects more -Mandatory overtime every 3 months -Poor communication from management and between shifts -Nobody is held accountable for there mistakes They will fire you for going to the bathroom even though it’s against OSHA regulations Not much room for growth -Customer is constantly changing there minds last minute even though they are right next door and over see everything and can plan better in advance -Work instructions are useless and unclear in places where they exist and in areas where they need them most they don’t exist. -questionable safety standards since there has been a gas leak for several weeks but employees are expected to continue working -power outages on a regular basis causing electrical issues with equipment -warehouse staff doesn’t know the value of the parts they deliver so they are handled without any amount of care -They will accept anyone that has 2 arms and 2 legs to work even though they may not speak English and there job requires them to be able to read English The list goes on…
