Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as a Senior Engineer in our Tempe office. We’re truly grateful for your continued commitment over the past few years. It’s encouraging to hear that you’ve found our work culture to be a positive environment and that you’ve had opportunities to grow professionally. That kind of feedback reinforces the importance we place on fostering a workplace where people can thrive and feel supported. We also hear your note about the competitive nature of the environment and the high workload. While we’re proud of the drive and innovation our teams bring to their work, we recognize that balance is essential. Your perspective is a helpful reminder as we continue to look for ways to support our teams more holistically. Thank you again for being part of Benchmark. -The Benchmark Team

Pros

WLB. Insurance. 401K. Low stress.

Cons

The site is very old. Like the last time a dollar was spent here (investment) was about ten years ago. The place is filthy. There are factory tours four our customer but I would be embarrassed to show this place to anybody. I'm not trying to be offensive but it's really unclean. Raises are delayed by three months because something will improve by then? Pay for the expectations is OK but it's not enough to encourage people.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We really appreciate your honesty and the fact that you’ve taken the time to reflect on your experience at Benchmark. It’s great to hear that you’ve found the work-life balance, benefits, and overall stress level to be positives. We know how important those things are, and we’re glad they’ve made a difference for you. We also hear your concerns loud and clear. The condition of the facility and the delay in raises are not things we take lightly. You’re right—our work environment should reflect the pride we have in what we do, especially when customers visit. And when it comes to compensation and communication, we know there’s room to improve. We’re working on both, and your feedback helps keep us focused on what matters most to our team. Your advice about growth and pricing is thoughtful and appreciated. We’re always looking at how to balance cost, value, and long-term sustainability—and comments like yours help push those conversations forward. Thanks again for your feedback and for being part of Benchmark. We wish you all the best and hope you’ll continue to share your perspective—it really does make a difference. —Benchmark Electronics
